The 3rd Battle of the Year Spore competition has ended.

Results as expected. But we managed to climb another level clinching 1st runner-up which minority will remember hah. Maybe bcos a couple of top local crews didn't join the competition due to personal reasons which we do respect.

Its a mixed feeling for us. Disappointed that we threw our showcase away for not executing perfectly. Fatigue strikes again? Possibly. Battle is way better than last year. To be honest we need to catch up with the local battle scene cos we lacked of experience in dat. We'll work on dat part hopefully. First battle against Style Groovaz Crew, huge props to them! Final battle against RF, no doubt.

A big Thank You and Love goes to those who came to support BFC. Even those who gave us a single clap. We appreciate it truly no doubt bout that. Its hard to please the audience nowadays we discovered. We appreciate those who appreciate. Its never easy.

Next year? Maybe? Maybe Not?...Time will tell.

Update Out of the Blue~

Greetings Earthlings,

We've been asked a number of common question lately and that is:
"When will BFC have a public per4mance?"

Well to be honest, currently we only do shows for company/corporate events but would love to have a per4mance for the public but so far there's not even a chance. So if you peepz are keen to catch our new set of showcase, do drop by outside of Plaza Singapura this Saturday, 7th June at 7pm.

There will be a Battle of the Year Singapore 2008 competition held there and do come down and support ya fav local Bboy crews. The crews will have to per4m a routine showcase of not more than 6 mins. Then the best 4 crews will proceed to the battle round to have a chance to clinch the top spot and represent Spore for the Battle of the Year Asia.

This competition to us is by far the most complete for bboy crews to compete as its not 100%ly based on battles. You gotta show how tight ya crew is during the showcase and respect goes to those who are willing to try. To us its never about winning, its all about competing and showing our love of bboying in the local scene.

So if ya'll free, the event is free. =)

7 years comin and ongoing madnessss...

This 9 Aug 07 will mark our 7 years of crappiness, sloppiness, seriousness, sadness,happiness and watevaness of bein together.

Bboys come, bboys go but i hope we will stay strong to satisfy our passion. All these 7 years, we've been thru a lot in terms of the bond we had. There are bboys who are hunger for fame, there are bboys who took advantage of the crew,there are bboys who only appear when there are shows and of course there are bboys who stay true to the game.

BFC is a crew which could produce complete crappyness/sloppiness during shows but then again they are capable of blowing up the stage when they really mean it. In both cases they are sure to entertain the masses. Experiences have been worthwhile so far and hopefully there'll be more pleasant moments to come in the near future.

BFC wouldn't go this far without those bboys who sacrifice as the backbone of the crew making it stand firm to the ground. You know who you are.

There are loads of dance crews in sg and most of them are improving if not way better. We wish ya'll all the best and stay true to your own crew and give everythg dat ya good at.Peace.

Represent your own crew with Heart and Soul. Dun let fame get into ya head coz you will fall face first to the ground. Respect each other and the crew will keep on climbing up level by level but not just stall sumwhere and be forgotten, be gone.

Treat every lil show as if its da last per4mance, last opportunity to bust ya routine, settling ya feet at the only stage dat ever existed. There will be ups and downs down the bumpy road. Settle thgs professionally but dun ever hide or pretend.

The Last Man Serving...

BFC would like to wish Hisham aka Shamoz a safe and enjoyable journey in his NS life.
Today, 10th April 07, he will be enlisted to tekong for his BMT. We will miss a great talent and contribution from him for sure. Hoping he will be joining us back pretty soon.

Meanwhile Jeebiez and Damndopey is back training with us which is a great boost. Shamoz is the last BFCian to be enlisted for NS. Once its all done, hopefully there'll be a BIG Showdown together with the whole crew able to per4m on one stage.

A Night to Cherish...

07 April 07 will be a night BFC will cherish. Loads of wonderful things happened that night at DXO. We had a per4mance there much thanx to Dapheny from Soul Fusion. Loads of dope crews were per4ming that night naming O Skool, Definition Crew, NRA, In Da House, Streetz Disciples and many more. The Event: Brooklyn Rock.

We did a new set of showcase which as always, we manage to finish it b4 da day itself. Da crowd was awesome cheering the "highlights" of our sets. We could do better but heck we enjoyed it loads. Bill Calhoun as the emcee made it better.

We were truly surprise to see almost all the top 10 Dancefloor groups der joining the event. A truly great feeling to meet them again after their long and tiring day of roadshows and rehearsals. Muchly Deeply appreciated. Hope you guys enjoyed our piece dat night. Much RESPECT to Definition Crew for the friendly battle when the floor was open. Ben and gang was dope as always.

Hopefully there'll be a chance to unleash this showcase outdoor to the public cos they truly deserve it after all these years of care and concern for us. We owe YOU that.Till then..

BFC Has Left The Building...

Its a sad, sad situation.
Not bcos we were eliminated but when we saw those tears welling up all your beautiful eyes.

BFC for sure gonna miss all the WORTHY time spent with JDI, Fan4, SFB, Platinum, Soul Fusion, Vas n Pris, e2, MnS, the Batucadas and not forgettin our good pals Freestylerz.

BFC for sure gonna miss our 'playground', our 'battlefield' that is the Dance Floor.

BFC for sure are blessed with the wonderful peepz supporting us now and then. Our Family, our Friends, our Fans : YOU guys mean the WORLD to us. There's no perfect words to express our feelings but do noe that all our bruises, bumps, bleedin and fractures are all WORTH it seeing you guys cheering us on.Muchly Deeply Appreciated. We thank GOD, the Management, the Crews, the wardrobe and styling peepz, The SUPERB DANCERS, judges, Zaki, Rahmat, Alvin, Glyn, Sam, Nee, Joy and not forgettin LINDSAY, We ADORE you truly.

Wats next for us? We gonna lay low for the moment. Back to the streets busting and practising, to us the most unique way of body expression that is Bboying. Do say Hiiiiii if you bump into us anywhere, anytime.

Will We Rock 'n' Roll???

Did we take you to the Funky Town during the Disco night? We truly hope so. Next lined up will be Rock 'n' Roll. But b4 dat, will we be rolling out of Mediacorp's gate once the results are announce? Time will tell. Its all up to the voters then the judges. So if you think we are worthy of ya votes and wanna see more of us..Let ya fingers do the walking.

We still got loads of tricks to unleash. Our weakness is mainly our facial expression. We are either tired or "shy" hahah..We'll try to work on that. The top 10 groups are mostly versatile so anyone could be endangered. They are fun people to work with. The producers are all supportive so far and its all good.

Hopefully there'll be more fun for the dancers together with the audiences. For those who support us no matter where you are, we'll do our best to give ya'll an impressive show. We always will. Much Luv.

History in da Making.

Hey heyyy...BFC made it thru into the top 10 placings for The Dancefloor. Totally shocked once judge Bill announced their decision. It won't be all smiles cos this group of 8 really kicked a$$ for the shuffle rounds. For sure the judges had a real hard time.

Moving on, expectations will rocket up sky-high for BFC. We'll give our all dat we can produce (Blow Ups, Sleek Group moves, Creativity, Entertainment and Humour as wat we always did for the past 6 years.) for the upcomin rounds till the audiences are sick of us and we out of da competition.

We won't be surprised if most of the wildcard round groups come from our set of 8 coz they TRULY deserve dat shot! Much Luv and Respect to Fascination, JDI, Platinum, Freestylerz, Gold FAc3, LSA and the other group dat made it thru, Vas and Pris. These ppl are a wonderful bunch. Its like per4ming alongside them rather then competing. Gonna miss those days. But hell some of them will return to kick our firm a$$ hahah...for sure.

Till then, good luck to all the remaining shuffle round groups. Make s'pore proud. And not forgetting, most importantly, WE LOVE ALL those peepoz who been supporting us all this while. The dance fever is here...

Spore's first ever dance reality competition on Channel 5. Do catch BFC on the Dancefloor for the first set of the Shuffle rounds. (Top 32). It will be telecast on 7th Feb 07(Show) and 8th Feb 07(Results) on Channel 5 at 8pm. Ours will be the first group to bust our moves. No further details bout wat happened..Stay tune to find out!

Besides dat, we had a meeting regarding this, the media and all. We noe we're in for a big thing and hell yea we're ready to face them. CRITICS will come in every direction for sure. We've experienced dat b4 so just bring it. Ppl loves to talk so let em talk..But preferably to our faces.

BFC couldn't find no words to express our feelings to those who are always behind us...supporting us. It just overwhelms us to see em wonderful ppl. Entertaining audiences is what we've always been doin for the past 6 years and yea the vision won't change no matter what. BFC will always do thgs BFC's style.

Break Force Crew would like to wish aLL Muslims a Happy and Safe Fasting Month for this ever Lovely Ramadhan.

Updates:

BFC gave a shot at the Dancefloor audition last saturday at the Youth Park and made it to the 2nd Round. All THANKS to the crowd who definitely gave us the energy at that very moment. To see the judges smiling, it was Priceless. We made some new friends and it was all kewl.

B4 dat, We spent da night at Orchard wandering around town. Finally we settled for "John Tucker Must Die" at Plaza Singapura. Hopefully guys will still stick to boxers after watchin dat movie(Gotta watch it). Then we headed back to somerset and bought Gatorade after bein inspired by the sports trailer b4 the movie started. We chill and rested beside Cineleisure till the next mornin.

Early mornin, groups by groups of dancers arrived. We run thru our routine and headed for the shower, gettin ready. Our number for d auditon was 145. Loads of dope dance groups were scattered everywhere around Youth Park. We juz couldn't wait to bust our stuffs and we did it.Again, THANK YOU for all d support. BFC loves ya'll.

Good day/night to all the Lovely ppl out der..
Today's topic is: "Hate".

So here goes; Hate is the opposite of LOVE. In Malay, Hate means Benci! Hmmmph! Ok kewl.

In the entertainment business, NOBODY can please EVERYBODY for sure. So for the down-to-earth BFC guys, we sometimes had to deal with sum haters here and there. We dun mind them much for sure if they tell us in our face, but some minority which we called immature thinkin 'kids' love to talk gibberish online. Frankly its real funny cos they got the time to do that cos BFC dun givva daym if any crews bite dis or bite dat. Even if they bite their toenails, we dun go online juz to tag "Hey check out this link..Its daym similar to your showcase."

In the year 2000 we CREATE a tag move that appeared on BOTY 2002 done by an international crew. Is dat biting? NOPE...Dat is coincidence or you can say Great minds think alike!

So the point is...
You know wat the point is.

9th August 2006 marks our 6 years together..We truly LOVE the wonderful people who has walked thru dis lovely journey with us..Dats the reason why we still get to play on our 'playground'. Truly muchly appreciated.

We got a special gift on our bday..One individual, vastly known last time, decided to be back on track with us. Dat is truly one helluva gift. We'll unleash him on the next big event. We workin on our new showcase..Gon be entertainin.

Arts Appreciation.

Rehearsals after rehearsals, at last da show is over.
On the 7th and 8th July 06, BFC was invited to perform together with an orchestra and lovely talented local singers. The event, 'Soundwaves-A Musical Journey' held at the Esplanade Theater was a Cultural type of entertainment. Yea at first we thought that itz gonna be a long boring event. It turned out to be some thing that we'll cherish and a truly good experience for us.
It made us appreciate and respect those musicians. From the orchestra, the choreographer, the conductor, the dancers, the singers, the beautiful host...Everyone made it a success. It was a wonderful worthwhile experience thanx to the People Association for inviting us. Truly deeply appreciated.

Thursday, 22nd June 06, i asked myself; Do we get love from local bboys?

Friday, 23rd June 06, I thank god for the answer.

We won't forget all those faces, bein at the other side of the battling ground at DXO. Those looks in their eyes. The finger gesture that they showed. The crystal clear imbalance number of bboys at the 2 sides.

4 BFCians came last minute as there was a battling slot bein empty. AZN Bboys whom they called themselves were at the other side. Their pax, I didn't count. From the bottom of our hearts, much luv to Larry (Fuyoo), Dan aka Dr Octo (Uncanny Origins) and Boy (Radikal Forze) for busting their dope routines on our side altho most of their crew members were on the other side. Muchly deeply appreciated for their display of sportsmanship. For the battle, each crew had to fork out 50 bux each and the organiser produced anotha 50 bux. Winner takes all.

Thank you Felix for showing the crowd what a true battle is based on. Thank you for the re-battle causing more dope bboys to join the AZN Bboys. We won't back out for sure. We'll battle anyone till the very last beat for our luv of Bboying eventho we had 2 shows b4 that at the Spore Expo.

As for the cash we won (surprisingly THANX to the anonymous crowd that cheered us for the result), ya'll can have it back if ya'll want it.

BFC Thank god for the answer, Thank all the bboys for the battle, Thank iLLers for the 'In Yer Face Event'. Thank all those anonymous crowd cheerin us after the battle. You can't force the people to love you..you gotta earn it. BFC won't stop doin things our style. We won't. We'll continue to support local bboying scene no matter what happened last night. In terms of Respect, None.

Lastly not forgettin, aLL the very best to Radikal Forze who will represent Spore in Thailand this August for the BOTY.

16th June 06 is da day where local bboy crews will outwit each other in a 6 minute showcase. Top 4 showcases will qualify to the next battling round da following day.
I can say that this will be the biggest bboying event in Singapore so far for the fact that it is in conjunction with Battle Of The Year Worldwide not forgettin Sg HipHop Festival. Judges will be from all over the world.

Our aim mainly is to show da talents Singapore has and hopefully all local crews will support and impress the legendary judges so that this event will repeat itself every year runnin. For us as always winning ain't everything so long as we enjoyed, entertain and impress the people who came to see us.So be there..6pm at Somerset Youth Park.

BFC crashed out of Levi's comp (*playin Godfather's tune*). It was due to too much dangdut in da studio instead of practising..but its all good..We had fun. The only disappointment was that itz bein held indoors and we couldn't get the chance to bust our last move.The competitors were daym GOOOD!!! To all the finalists: RAWK ON~!

p.s. (Thanx for all those SWEET msges we received after the comp..Really means a lot to us.)

As we marched back to our camp..We received an invitation to bust our stuffs..BFC will be performin at MOS for a Panasonic Function this Tuesday, 18th April 06. Next will be at Zouk for an MTV Function this Thurs, 20th April 06. But of all shows..we missed performin in front of the crowd who really came to see us..Those were the kind of shows we always lookin forward to..

BFC is still cleanin the floors with our bodies till this very day..Our aim this year is to join as many competitions as possible. Win or lose ain't matter cos the main priority is to have fun and enjoy ourselves together with the audiences. It feels great pleasure lookin at ppl nodding their heads, clickin their cameras, gelek-ing their hips when we were on stage per4min.

Its 6 years in da making for us now..Hopefully ya'll will keep on continuing the journey with us..The bond juz couldn't break..It ain't about FRIENDSHIP cos friends COME friends GO..Its about BROTHERHOOD(btw we're all straight alright).Brotherhood that sweats, bruised, bleeds together..And get the rewards EQUALLY and FAIRLY. So dun juz session when ders an upcomin shows around da corner ;p cos it ain't healthy hahah..We never regard our crew as good ever cos we are still and always learnin.

Levi's Dance Competition will be held on 16th April 3pm for Group Category at Millenia Walk area..We HOPE its gonna be out for public viewing instead of indoors with the judges only cos by now surely those who've been to our previous shows know who BFC has been performin for..Yea..Da Crowd for sure.

Time limit is only 4 minutes..Kewl with that..Semis will be at Bugis Junction on the 22nd which we dun think we can reach..

The support from the LURVVVELY people who came to catch us was awesome..BFC Thank you guys from the bottom of our hearts..We did our best to put up a good show but of course NO ONE can please EVERYONE.

Part of BFC had gone to Bar Celona last night to support our own local crews Styles From Beyond and also the Floor Techniques Crew...Awesome display. FTC produced a power pack moves showcase while SFB as usual rawk da crowd...Thumbs up to both crews..Simply Dope!

Now, BFC is workin on our new showcase due 25th February at the Esplanade..Its really kinda tuff one this time but we're crackin our heads and hopefully we'll produce a good showcase..Time to be confirmed..Will be updated.

Mission 2nd July 05 Accomplished...

If you have a sense of sight and a sense of hearing..YOU can't deny dat BFC RAWKED da event..
With a grand entrance THANX to the bikers..It was all good..
With a showcase of less than a day practising..Ders bound to be some mistakes and also due to da stage area dimension..But it was all good.
2nd July 2005 was the 2nd Best of the Best competition which we got 2nd last year.. Congratz to da Remix Finalist for clinching da 1st place..B'Quartet was no doubt a world class band..

The moment dat really captured our hearts was da crowd who came to see us.BFC THANK YOU GUYS FOR CHEERING US, SCREAMING ALL YA HEARTS OUT knowing dat da result was based on d audience..We sumhow apologised if sum of you guys are disappointed..Bout da results..BFC got NO comment.

Do wait for August 13th 05..BFC will do a show at esplanade dedicated to the LOVELY PEOPLE who have been supporting us..who have given us the extra energy to bust our moves..who have always been behind us in everythg dat we do..It will not only be a single showcase..Stay tune for more infos..

i think its best for me to let this out then keep it inside. I think BFC is just the same as any other crew in sg.We always go back to da same old SHIT that we used to be.NO one in the CREW is making an effort or do wat they suppose to do. BFC is just a name dat da members are proud to be in but not a CREW dat works together. Where is all the TEAMWORK, COOPERATION, BROTHERHOOD n etc.

This is the day.... when we put our hearts together to
remember that the friends that we have are the best
that we've got..actually theres more to BFC.. but i cant
seem to find a nice pic. hehe sorry.

On top of friendship, we wish our condolences to Pope
John Paul (i hope i have his name right). Being muslims,
we appreciate what our religions effort in helping ppl
regardless of their creed, race ultimately, their religion.
He was a great man.

Yeaaaa...First and foremost, we would lyk to THANK da Lovely crowd who came to catch BFC per4m at Youth Park, Bonzo D'Flava 2 !!! Only 2 days of practise till da sun rises...Wow itz all worth it seeing you guys comin up front near da stage...That truly gave us the strength to bust our stuffs...Cos we were truly shagged b4 our slot as you can see from our expressions...Neway do pray for some of our crew members to recover soon from their injuries cos yeaaa itz gonna be total madness if da whole crew were to per4m...One more thing, last night da emcee announced dat we are da best crew in Singapore...Dat is nice BUT for sure NOT true...We live up to our motto still : " ain't da best BUT never fail to impress."

A BIGGGG Thanx to all those people who came to support da Hip Hop for Hope event at d YMCA on d 19th of March 05...especially those who came to see us per4m...We did an old showcase due to time constraint of meeting up for practices...Anyway do bounce to Youth Park dis comin Saturday, 26th March 05, to catch Bonzo D'Flava 2!!! Hip Hop per4mances all day... And yea...most probably it will be a NEW showcase from us...Hopefully...altho itz d exam week for some of us studying in Temasek Polytechnic...Sooooo see ya'll der...Take Care and Be Gooood~
